Yes, many people do get better from Lyme albeit in various ways--antibiotics, mild hyperbaric, energy healing, herbs etc.

There is thread called "Progress and Success Stories" in general support.

Also, a great thread on mild hyperbaric treatment in medical. PM Phoiph for more info on that.

I am not 100%, probably because too much damage was done prior to diagnosis, but I am a lot better.

Never give up HOPE!

Hi,i have periods of time when i am so better, then periods when i am destroyed.

Also being a cancer survivor,i am in this mode where I will push myself to the point of exhaustion to get out in the wilderness and be where i want to be.

Never let anything stop you from your place in this world.

3 years of treatment for me and doing better! Treatment ended 2007 and back to work 2011. Part time now but probably go back to full time.

I did 16 weeks of IV's, a bunch of different oral antibiotics and alternative stuff at the same time.

Hang in there!

Hiker,

Thank you for mentioning mild hyperbaric.

Overlyme, YES, wellness is possible. Feel free to PM me, and I will do my best to help you.

(However, I'm still frequently getting an error message when trying to access LymeNet threads and PM's...anyone else?)

Yes, people do get better. I think it's a matter of finding treatments that work for us.

Some people manage to improve over time with the right treatment, but it can be a long and frustrating journey. Important never to give up
