My Lymenet page shows "LymeNet 2020 fund drive". And when I hit "make a Donation" Paypal comes up saying you can't donate that way.

Any good ideas on a way to help LymeNet out? I thought of starting a "Go Fund" . Anybody?

I wish I knew and I am not getting any answers from the powers that be.

A GoFundMe is a good idea!

Hate to see this website disappear due to lack of funds.

Will it make a difference? Wonder how much they need to keep Lymenet afloat? How do you pay through a GoFundMe?

Good idea! I have been promoting LymeNet for a long time on
Ohio Lyme disease Link on Facebook.

Maybe people on the Medical Questions board here would have some ideas about raising funds for Lymenet.

I posted this on Medical:
"When I tried to donate to LymeNet and clicked on "Make a donation"
I got a notice from PayPal that donations could not be made through them.

Further exploration came up with the fact that LymeNet is short of funds.

Jenifer of LymeNet has not been responding. Anyone. know why?
Hope she is okay."

One possibility would be a Go Fund Me drive for them. What do you think? Any other ideas of raising funds for LymeNet?

One thing is to get it so that PayPal is accepted; that would help a lot IMHO. I use it all the time so my credit card doesn't get hacked, etc.

The other is something I forgot about: coming here, and clicking on the link to make all Amazon purchases go towards contributing to LN. I used to do this and then forgot---darned! That could add up over time.

Plus, someone needs to find out how much do they need on an on-going basis?

And a GoFundMe site. And, yes, if people can be steered back to LN, that would be great! It's been sad to see it so relatively inactive.

And MADDOG, can you say more about how you could help? (I don't build computers!).

Rumigirl,

The Link to Amazon really doesn't work anymore. Amazon is not giving any proceeds to Lymenet anymore.

Jenifer, the webmaster, has said she needs to remove the link.
