Hi all - Tincup/Lucy Barnes and her actual name, Teresa or Terri Beck, was so active here on Lymenet for so many years and helped so many Lyme andTBD patients. She passed two years ago on January 11, 2024 from too many infections. She fought a good fight against them as long as she could.
There is a memorial site for her online where we can leave comments. It took me a while to get through and I finally did, without having to subscribe monthly. So if you want to add a comment, keep trying, and it might happen!
There's also a bio for her. It's amazing how much she did, and not just Lyme-related.

Thank You for posting this Robin.
I had been trying to get in touch with Tincup since she went MIA 3 years ago. I knew she had passed away 2 years ago but still couldn’t find anywhere to post my deep condolences and I was devastated.
She saved my life. She saved many, many, many lives. ❤️💚
All her links to help Lyme patients are gone. Very sad.
I offered her to stay with me when her home was devastated by the hurricane in 2019 but she declined and said her son was with her. I finally figured out her screen name Lucy Barnes was a pseudonym.
I will never forget my HERO! ❤️💚 RIP Tincup

Thanks - she was wonderful here, so welcoming to new people. She was also darn funny and a very witty writer. I like the diversity of her background - if you haven't checked out her bio above, go see.

Hi Gang One time when i had a lyme float on the Buffalo National river she came for it.
We all went to a dulcimer shop she wanted one from there.
Jenny and i were browsing the music books there . I found a book by a lady and the picture looked exactly like Tincup. I do not remember the name of the lady.
She was such a nice person.
