A teacher is suing a school district Necise ensemble believes her mice ridden classroom brought in ticks and caused her Lyme disease.
Will be interesting to see the outcome.

I don't know how that's going to turn out for her. How disgusting about the infestation.

Wow, talk about negligence, denial, and gaslighting on the part of the district!
Hopefully, no other staff or students have (or will) become symptomatic. If they do, I hope they join her lawsuit.
Best of luck to her in getting well and receiving compensation for her medical bills. I admire her for taking a stand; not easy to do when you're fighting for your health.

MADDOG,
Can't use poison bait in a school kitchen, but traps would have been an option. They needed to hire a professional service.
Btw, these poisons can cause secondary poisoning to pets and predator wildlife, as the rodents don't die immediately and travel. Sadly, my beautiful, smart, beloved pup died a horrible death from a poisoned rodent that traveled into our yard. He spent 3 days in intensive care but didn't make it.
