How horrible! I read the article and was shocked they're active in 33° and above temperatures!

Data as of 09/22/2025, 2,043 reported cases of Lyme disease in Ohio. ( in 2025

* Data as of 01/12/2026, 2,765 cases - since January 2025.. And these are only the reported Lyme disease cases! The CDC says there are likely 10 times that many.
