Welcome to the exercise thread.

Here we proclaim our victories by telling what movements we can do each day. [woohoo]

Are you in physical therapy, walking? Perhaps you are grocery shopping or cleaning. Maybe you can get outside and water the flower etc.

So, tell us about your exercise or just tell us about your day.

Have a wonderful week! [group hug]

Slept in this morning.

I watched my local church service online and then watched the sermon from the National Cathedral.

Ran a load of laundry.

Vacuumed a little bit and mopped the kitchen and bathroom floors.

Called my mom.

Read and grounded.

Having an Amy's gluten free burrito tonight with a spinach salad.

Didn't watch the chick flick last night, so will watch it tonight and then read.

Called my cousin who has the same birthday as my father (today).

Did my bike warmup and then my knee and feet exercises but stretched several times throughout the day for my hip.

Walked over 30 minutes.

Filled the safflower and suet feeders.

Watered the flowers, pulled a few weeds and then sprayed weeds.

Cut back dead buds on my second peony. Lovely day with sunshine and 82*. [Cool]

Had a fight with the hose sprayer on the back yard hose that didn't want to come off. Finally with silicon spray and chain lock pliers I got it off.

Called my mom.

Read and grounded and did the newspaper puzzles.

Took the garbage and recycling bins to the curb.

I am grilling brats for dinner and having a tossed salad with yellow squash and carrots.

Probably just read tonight.

Had visitors for the second weekend in a row. Lots of fun, but over too soon.

Picking strawberries between rain showers.

Planting flowers between rain showers.

Did get most of the garden planted before the rainy days started. Still have a few more things to plant as soon as it dries off enough.

Baking about half the usual amount of bread today. Over holidays it doesn't sell as well.

I did my balance and shoulder exercises.

Went grocery shopping. Forgot the TP and may go back tonight as it is on sale today but not tomorrow.

Walked for over 3O minutes.

Called mom. We cancelled her ENT appointment as her doctor looked in her ears today and said they were free of wax. Handy that her GP comes to the nursing home once a week, although she doesn't see my mom every week. I asked her to take a gander.

It is so nice to be able to chat on the phone again now that she can hear me.

My mums are trying to bloom and it isn't even June. They come back every year and are expanding. I cut the buds off today and will be doing that frequently until Autumn.

Sat outside and earthed while reading.

Am waiting for a handyman to come give me an estimate on power washing and staining the deck. They never seem to give approximate times of when they will appear.

Leftovers for dinner and then maybe some TV and starting a new novel.

It reached 90* here with poor air quality. I turned the AC on but it has yet to kick in. Still cool enough in the house.

I got up early to meet a man who gave me an estimate on power washing and staining the deck and power washing the patio.

Watered the flowers. No rain for a while, so I will be watering almost every day.

Then did my bike warmup and knee and plantar fasciitis exercises along with some hip stretches.

Went for a 30 minute walk before it got too hot.

Washed my blue colored sheets and put them away and made the bed with cream colored sheets.

Called mom and then she called me twice. She couldn't remember what we had talked about. [Frown]

Read, did the newspaper puzzles, and grounded.

I am cooking a chicken breast for dinner and steaming broccoli. Making a spinach salad.

Then reading and some TV.

Did my balance and shoulder exercises.

Rode the exercise bike for 25 minutes.

Watered the flowers. Took down the bird feeders from the deck as it will get power washed tomorrow.

Called my mom.

Did some spot cleaning here and there.

Sat and read for quite a while.

Leftovers for dinner and then some TV and reading.

I did my balance and shoulder exercises again.

Cleaned a lot of the house as my brother was coming.

Went outside and locked myself out. Thank goodness my neighbors across the street have my extra key and were home.

My brother and I spent the latter part of the morning and most of the afternoon together. He took me to lunch and I had a Swiss cheese mushroom burger and fries. It has been ages since I have had a good hamburger. I also had a beer and hope the gluten doesn't plague me. It was a refreshing shandy with a citrus zest to it. Sorry to see him leave. Great talks.

Guys came and power washed the deck and patio. They will be back next week to sand parts of the deck and stain it.

Read the paper and did the puzzles.

Just having a tossed salad for dinner.

Then reading and perhaps some TV.

Sunshine today and in the 70's. Lovely spring weather.

Finished folding the clean laundry.

Worked outside most of the day. Weeded 2 flowerbeds. Ready to plant flowers in them.

Also took out a few more weeds on the front bank and then planted several more creeping phlox on the bank.

Supper is in the oven. Potatoes, green beans, hamburger bbq and rhubarb crisp.

Want to sew this evening after its too dark to work outside.

Ran a load of laundry.

Did my bike warmup and then my knee and feet exercises. plus some hip stretches.

Watered some of the flowers.

Went to the public library and came home with too many books. [Wink]

I baked salmon for lunch and had asparagus and half a sweet potato.

Talked to mom who said she needed bobby pins. So, I texted my brother who is still in her town and he went and got her some. Why she didn't just ask him is beyond me.

Went to the grocery store to get eggs on sale. They had free Starbucks expresso drinks, so I got one. Glad it was only 6 ounces, but it tasted good.

Did the newspaper puzzles after reading the paper, grounded and am reading a novel. Almost done.

Meatloaf for dinner again. Romaine lettuce salad and snap peas.

Then I will finish up that novel and probably start a new one.

Another sunny spring day.

Spent most of it outdoors.

Planted flowers, pulled weeds, put down mulch, laid cardboard in the garden.

Brought in the asparagus.

Supper was hamburger bbq, diced potatoes, peas and cake for dessert.

Want to go back out to the garden until dark.

Need to pick strawberries yet this evening.
