Bringing this up for LymeBrat who asked whether there is a permanent file on Lymnet for the poem that I suggested she share with others.

Cheryl, If you'll post this notice again in the Computer Forum, where there aren't so many other competing messages posted so frequently, then it will be much easier to find whenever we are ready to create our webpage write up our little Success Story.
DanQ: Have you got any good advice or can you suggest some titles of what are the best paperback books on creating webpages. I browsed through the "Webpage Design for Dummies" at Barnes & Noble this last week, but I chickened out and din't buy it.
Too intimidating for me, that's just how big a "puter-phobic" I am, as if you didn't already know that by now. But now my daughter, she's real smart about PCs, and afterall, it IS HER story, so maybe the webpage design won't be such a big obstacle.
Cookie in Germany has already promised to translate our/her Success Story into German for us whenever Sweetheart gives the signal that she's ready to "go public." She wants to make absolutely certain that she's not going to relapse first before she comes out of the closet. And THAT could take quite a long time, because we are both super-paranoid and super-superstitious about not jinxing her good luck (so far) towards her Remarkable Recovery.
Anyhow, Cheryl, that's why I'm asking this favor. I'm afraid I'll never find this link again later, if you don't post it where PC-idiots like me can find it easily, long after we've forgotten about this particular topic here in the General Forum now.

Hi TX!
Great idea! I never woulda thought o dat!!!
Regarding creating a website...I don't know what you had in mind, but some of the free web services, particularly geocities, are very user friendly. Tis something to consider. You just sign up and it pretty much takes you through the basic steps. And when you want to do more, there are help topics with instructions.
