Geeze--too bad this guy doesn't have lots of big time political backers with lots and lots of moolah so he could get some ads on the tee-vee.

He seems to be the Democrat's equivalent to the anti-Kerry Swift Boat Veterans for Truth

His Book:
The Phony Fighter Pilot exposes a fake bio of W used in the 2000 election--makes his Nat'l Guard service record look much more honorable than it really is.

From phoneyfighterpilot.com

BOOK SUMMARY

Phony Fighter Pilot proves George W. is UNFIT FOR COMMAND with facts gleaned from Bush family autobiographies, authorized bios,

Web-based newspaper archives and official USAF records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act.

The compiled data shows that Commander-in-Chief Bush:

1. Evaded the Vietnam War draft by pulling political strings at the last minute to leapfrog other applicants into the Texas Air National Guard.

2. Used his famous family name to get a Reserve Air Force commission without any officer training.

3. Jumped ahead of applicants again, this time more qualified officers waiting to enter USAF pilot training.

4. Was pampered by flight instructors because of his father's status as a U.S. congressman from Texas.

5. Quit flying F102 interceptors 30 months before the end of his sworn tour of weekend warrior duty.

6. Grounded himself by refusing to take his annual USAF flight physical.

7. Finagled a non-flying assignment in Alabama and went absent without leave (AWOL) after getting there.

8. Boozed until age 40 instead of preparing for national leadership.

9. Insulted women while intoxicated, drove cars the same way and got at least one DUI.

10. Lied to voters in 2000 about his missing (AWOL) Guard time, played dirty campaign tricks and tried to ruin the reputation of his GOP primary opponent, Arizona Senator John McCain.

Phony Fighter Pilot makes the case that Bush's devious nature led to the
Iraqi quagmire and raises an impeachment question no one has asked, not
even Democrats: WHY did the president rush to war without UN support,
proper peacekeeping preparations or a viable exit strategy?
Phony Fighter Pilot was written by Hugh E. Scott -- investigative journalist,
novelist, cartoonist, Vietnam veteran, ex-USAF pilot, retired Continental
Airlines captain, lifelong registered Republican, Ronald Reagan fan, John
Kerry supporter and new admirer of Pat Buchanan, author of the recently
published anti-Iraq war book, Where the Right Went Wrong.

A WARNING TO MY FELLOW VIETNAM VETS

If you condemn John Kerry for his anti-war activities three decades ago
and assert it disqualifies him from being Commander-in-Chief, that is
your privilege as a veteran. But you DO NOT have the right to elevate
the president's unpatriotic service in the Texas Air National Guard to
"HONORABLE" status.

As my book shows with USAF records obtained through the Freedom
of Information Act, during the Vietnam War, Lt. Bush promised to operate
Air Defense Command interceptors until the end of his six-year weekend
warrior tour. Instead, Dub-ya:

1. Quit flying F102s in April 1972 -- 30 months before the end of his obligatory tour.

2. Refused to take his mandatory annual USAF flight physical, a court martial offense under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

3. Was grounded on August 1, 1972, as indicated by offical ANG orders (below), which also appear in my book.

4. Went AWOL in Alabama to work for the GOP in 1972 and 1973.

That kind of selfish behavior is NOT commendable by any stretch of
imagination. Veterans who insist otherwise -- that George W. served
honorably in the Texas Air National Guard -- disgrace themselves
and the uniform they once wore.
But worse than that, by putting politics above patriotism, they spit on
the The Wall and the 58,169 names inscribed there. Shame on any
veteran who would do such a dastardly thing.

It would have ben interesting if both viewpoints (SBV's, and Veterans against Bush) had equal monetary backing and exposure..
