Ohh...I have tears in my eyes!! It is so sad for these animals just waiting there for their owners to return...
Little do they know they are not allowed to return to get them...

Yes, from what I understand, dial up takes a while but it eventually does come up and then they say it is worth the wait...
I bawl everytime! But I cry at everything...my husband doesn't get why I cry over it and my mother won't watch it....so you can judge on whether you think it is worth the wait:)

I personally think it is horrible that people were left there along with animals and I support those who stayed bc they did not want to leave their precious pets.. I think the mayor needs to account for why so many people were left behind for this disaster.... I thinkt hat no one left behind should be a motto for this sort of event.. NO ONE including animals..
There was no reason why all those people should be left there.. absolutely none.. they planned for this .. so why were so many left in NO's? The nation has to pay for this lack of leadership.. sure the government didn't respond right to the aftermath but did they really expect that all those people would be there when Katrina hit?? I think not.. someone had their head where the sun don't shine on this and many lives were lost, not just animals but all lives..
needlessly... HEADS should ROLL on this one and it should never happen again...... I am very passionate over this.. the nation as a whole has to pay somehow somewhere... and we will... for lack of actions taken prior to this horrible, horrible act of nature..
