Well, what do they base support on?

Must we support the Commander in Chief and the administration's conduct and stance in order to support the troops?

That is the question of the day..

New York should be in full bloom if it is purely gratitude, awe, and heartfelt prayers.

There is no question of the day.....you say you support the troops, why the questions?

All I find are contradictions in your posts.

MO,
Your "question of the day" has been answered repeatedly for a couple months at least...

YES...you support the commander in chief durring a war...

To cut off the head of even a snake makes the whole body wither and die...

If there has been any wrongdoing in getting into this conflict we as well as the world court will address those issues in due time...

This is just not the time.....puhlease get it!

The Commander in Chief and his administrators must be held to a reasonable level of accountability.

It's that simple, this is absolutely critical in supporting our troops..
without that, you are only supporting the leaders themselves and in some cases their political agendas over National Security ..the troops..National welfare... That's not good enough.

Congress called for accountability in Iraq in overwhelming majority. I'm quite certain they support the troops as well.

Furthermore, perhaps more attention to this administrations contribution to the Great American Divide should be given, and the effect that has had on this War effort and the military.

Afterall, it is their responsibility to unite the nation behind War, and they have done allot to contribute to division here at home.
(referring to their treatment of anyone with valid questions and the Press, an unpresidented
lack of address and even practicing in public degredation of individuals presenting such questions regardless of their stature)

We will suffer the effects of this for a long time to come.

Mo

Face it, Mo, you support the terrorist enemy by giving them hope.....which will take them longer to give up and therefore more Americans and civilians dead. Why you are proud of yourself is beyond me. How could you be proud of yourself if you have blood on your hands? That's the question of the day.

24,

IMO, it is the very essence of your post and so many others like it, the degredation, dissmisal, attack of individuals rather than discusion -- and lack of accountability that illustrates the Cancer that has incited division
--- permiated America and impeded progress in the War on Terror..
more worrying is that we see this kind of thing coming out of the White House as well.

Hey yeah that's it the administration is causeing division....right.....

Calling our fighting ladies over their whores...or agreeing with those that have(same thing)

Insinuating that we should act according to the enemies culture instead of being americans.....

Accusing our troops and military of killing innocents....

Calling our commander in cheif a facist......

Gee, none of that causes division I guess.....

In this post and OJAI's or wherever I saw it you fane concern over the division of the nation as being harmful to our troops.....

COME ON......are you kidding me!?

If that's not hypocritical I have to go back and read Noam Chomski's book on word origins......

Holy calling the kettle black batman......

Then you bring up past leaders in past wars being upfront with the people of america...

first...how the heck do you know they were....

The Japanese were here in washington supposedly negotiating a treaty with us while their navy was bearing down on us at Pearl Harbor....

And no we did'nt have the "bomb" yet! Get your timetables updated...

anyway...first you compare the wars and in the same post you say there is no comparison....

Geezow...you can't even agree with yourself...talk about indecisive....divided...

If these guys did bad stuff it will be dealt with in time...
NOW is not the time...."It's that simple"...

But I know...this is just an attack...and no one with any intelligence or meaningful discussion or insights existed here before Ojai came on board...

Holy calling the kettle black batman...covertly that is.....
which you always seem to accuse others of.....

I think I'm thru with you...you'll never get it!

Case and point.

This is just one small example...totally twisting, altering and vilifying points and individuals.

The divisiveness is very harmful.
..and clearly not just the administration does this. Individuals , the media, certain political figures fan the fire..
the admin has fueled it over the past few years.
It rubs off.

There seems to be no interest or effort toward unity, a rather stunning disregard in fact.

You can't run a Democracy that way - this on top of the pressing specifics of their actions.
We are missing both effort toward unity and accountability.

Not only that, but a systematic campaign to divide the nation for political gain has been run by Rove and others behind the scenes for many years. He has a long history of this. It's flabbergasting, if you ask me.
Look objectively at how these folks conduct themselves. Read their responses and statements.
look at their actions.

Roosevelt admin they are not.

It was working (as far as political gain) through the '04 elections..
(but even that carefully orchestrated control has waned in the face of the Nation's many problems.)

Sorry, but that kind of operation .. sounds like another form of government to me.

I try to get out...but they just drag me back in!

So you never wrote any of the stuff I mentioned...is that it?

Your words don't divide anyone except on this board...everybody else is devisive and blatantly or covertly attacking you but you don't.
Give me a break... [puke]

Thank God the majority of the troops are'nt reading your words.

What, did you miss protesting the Nam war so you're making up for lost time? Or so you think!

Please, get a picket sign and walk up and down pennsylvania avenue...
Take a flight to Iraq and ask the guys and gals if they're offended by what you call their commander in chief...ask them if it has any effect on them...
Then find zarqawi and give him your resume.
