Loribelle,
I absolutely LOVE her cards, and you've just reminded me my subscription to her site has run out.
The adventures of Chudleigh and Molly have warmed my heart for several years. I'm so glad to see them again and so grateful to you for the holiday wishes.

Loribelle,
First thank you for bringing in some cheer, and was wondering how you were able to do it without revealing your e-mail. I like the cottage one too.
Is Chad home? My son isn't home as of yet. I haven't heard from him in awhile. I'm hoping he's sitting in the airport in Kuwait waiting for a plane to come home.

Thank you sooooo much. I love the cards. Christmas is my birthday, so I subscribed for my B-day present. Lifted my spirits. A rough couple of weeks. Thanks for making my evening. Happy Christmas Eve. Blessings of peace and healing to all.

Andie Chudleigh looks exactly like my sweet hairy, 4-legged best friend! Even has the red collar!
Lymeloco - I just copied target or shortcut and pasted it in the [url]... it lets you name it whatever you want. YES Chad is home!!! I'll post some pics. Hope your son is home very soon!
Healing in Santa Cruz - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
We had a very nice Christmas Eve dinner here last night, 20 people. Now I am beat! haha! We used to entertain a lot but not for about a year and a half other than a few people for a cookout here and there. It takes a lot of energy!! I am definately not 100% yet but this was a pretty good effort! My husband helped a LOT
Today will be wonderfully happy and low key Probably a few naps Posts: 1149 | From southeast iowa | Registered: Sep 2004

The busses that brought the soldiers (my son's unit) home went right past our house! So we were out there to welcome them
I will never, ever, forget the sight of the three busses full of happy soldiers. Every window was filled with happy, smiling faces and waves! Many prayers were answered on that day!

Everyone has an opinion on our presence overseas, but it is all just talk. Not one of them are walking the walk. Chad has walked the walk, and this American is very proud of him, but more importantly grateful. Thank him for defending my way of life, and for not cowering in the face of the terrorists.
Have a very Merry Christmas Loribelle. I hope Santa was especially nice to Chad this year.

Loribelle, Thanks for sharing your pictures. I got the chills, and tears. I am so happy that he's home! What a well deserved Welcome!
Give him a hug for me, and tell him how proud we are of him, and the troops.
I did get an e-mail from my son. He said it was just an ordinary day in Belad. He's happy that he doesn't have to deal with the commercialism, but then says, kinda miss it.
I don't know when he's coming home on leave, but he wants to surprise us. I was hoping he would pop in at my nieces yesterday at dinner. Family got together for dinner, and celebrated early.
Had another celebration today, and all went well except for family members parrot biting me on the neck, and finger drawing blood. I don't think he liked my red sweater!
It's just not Christmas unless ALL your kids are with you. He did get his presents on time. We will celebrate again when he gets here.
Best wishes for you and family for a New Year!
