The new issue of PHA is the goodbye issue to Dr B.

One of the other articles is an expose' on soda. It says certain ingredients combine to make benzene, a known carcinogen. I've given up sodas that have malic acid etc and benzoates but I cannot find one soda that won't contribute to my death. Do any of you have a handle on this?

The complication is that I put several drops of Agricept-L in my drinks. It's to treat yeast and, if I eat low carb, it works pretty well. I can't get it down if I put it in water, only if I put it in soda. Even the lighter sodas, like Schweppes Diet Ginger Ale can't hide the Agricept. Pepsi works well but, now that I know it has Benzene in it, I need something else.
