This was on my AOL page when I opened it up.

Don't know if anyone is brave enough to post their mate must haves...but thought it would be interesting. I know my must haves have changed since coming down with lyme disease.

Rule No. 2
Identify What You Really Want From Love

Everybody's got a list of ''mate must-haves.'' Those are the things that you absolutely, positively, MUST HAVE in order to even give a guy or girl the time of day. Write it all down so you'll know the minute you've come across a candidate, otherwise, you'll be shooting in the dark.

1. Must not get mad at me or bail becuase of all the "can't" lyme has imposed on my life that i have no control over.

I never seem to get past number 1. [Frown]

If you are asking what my ideal guy would be -

well here it is in random order (note this is an ideal list)

- nice

- intelligent

- creative

- no control issues

- not a sociopath

- funny (or at least doesnt take everything seriously)

- doesnt think art is stupid

- does not have kids and understands that I am not having them....ever.

- is nice to my cat

That sounds like a good list for my taste- but she has to like music and the outdoors, too...
As for my mate (as opposed to Mate...), I like the "eco-teas" "fairly traded" stuff-- I have a cup right here.....

Patience. Just be patient with me.

There's more things that I'd like in a mate (all of which my bf has), but that's the most important.

Can I throw a mates must have in here???

I think a lady mate of mine would HAVE to have a 1969 Hugger orange, black stripes, with a black vinyl roof and white interior Z-28 Camaro,,,then we can 'talk' about anything left over... [bow]

And that LONG list from above,,,yep,,,sounded about right!!! [Big Grin]

YEP. Good treats or rewards are a must. [Smile]

Unconditional love would be good too.

And always happy to see me. [Smile]

You don't have to wag your tail though. I really hope you don't have a tail to tell the truth.

The ad read must do dishes and put them away, must do laundry and fold it neatly and put it away, must iron, must do gardening, must take cars in for service, must take care of children, must work full time outside of house with adequate pay and benefits, must drive kids to soccer practice, must do grocery shopping, must cook nutritious meals, must go to meetings at childrens school, must be a plumber, must be an electrian..etc. etc. etc.
