hi lymies,
i want to know if anyone out there has found a large glass water dispenser that works well for them in the kitchen that is also attractive. i filter all my water with reverse osmosis and store in big 5 gallon glass jars. i then pour water from jars into 2.5 gallon porcelin dispenser for use in the kitchen. i would like to upgrade to a clear glass water dispenser that holds around 5 gallons. i have seen some nice glass dispensers in restaurants but i never can seem to find any in stores or on internet. any ideas? the best one i have found so far a a vodka infusion jar from this website:

http://www.infused-vodka.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=16

problem is that the lid on the top is too small. its hard to pour water in from a 5 gallon jug into such a small top without splashing.

any suggestions? take care.

Eons and eons of years ago,,,I went to country school,,, NO indoor plumbing. We had a crock water holder we would pour our hand pumped water from the yard outside,, into. And a sipgot on the bottom to fill your 'cup' from. the crock part kept the water cool pretty well.

That was way before water testing and lots of issues,,they had regular floods there too and never ever worried of the water,,,and nobody died,or got real sick,,life was easier then!!

So WHAT are you filtering out???
