I was registering to join planet thrive but I stopped because of all the personal questions. It felt like I was joining a dating service or something. Why do they need to know so much personal stuff? I don't understand...

yep, the personal questions are optional. people there are incredibly kind and open, and there's a really special sense of community that i haven't found on any other health board, ever.

i must agree, the questions are totally optional. Please don't be discouraged by that, they are really some awesome folks on there. Lots of good ideas also!

Hi Joalo, I'm the founder of Planet Thrive. Thanks to everyone for your kind words of support about the site. The reason for the questions is that the Internet can be a very lonely and cold place to surf, especially when researching for distressing health issues hour after hour.
We try to make Planet Thrive a warm, inviting, and personal space that adds some human warmth to the experience. That happens when people share about themselves, post photos, and interact.
Almost all of the profile questions are completely optional. We do ask for your full name and email address, but those are never posted on the site. We do this as a measure of security to help reduce the amount of spammers and trolls joining our site.

We are free to talk about pretty much everything and not judged or put down for treatments we use or tools like energy testing.I have been there from the beginning and so greatful for the site. Healing Blessings to you all Namaste' Joyce
