I am a huge gymnastics fan and wanted everyone to know that the Olympic trials are being held this weekend. Tune into NBC both Sat and Sunday evening to watch. We are going to have an amazing team this year. GO USA!

I love watching gymnastics. I was able to watch most of it. I took gymnastics from age 4 until 12. Then we moved to a really rural area that didn't have any programs.

I loved it. I can't believe I use to be able to do things on the beam.

I also love to watch the diving. I caught most of that too.

Very close friends of ours have a daughter, Natalie, who is on the Olympic Training schedule for swimming.

She swims at the same swim club as Katie Hoff. NBAC (North Baltimore Aquatic Club) Natalie is only 14 however and too young I think for this year's competition. She is going to the trials in Nebraska but i don't know if she is competing.

I do plan to keep a close eye on the trials just in case she qualifies. If she doesn't make the roster this year- I know the way she's been going she will be in the swim for the next Olympics.

Really exciting. Anyway- look for a Natalie B in the trials for women swimmers. They live in my town, my kids went to school with them though not in the same class.

Her father went undiagnosed for a long time with Lyme Disease, and I believe still suffers from Chronic Lyme. But he has been soooooo turned off by the medical Ducks he's seen that he refuses to go to anymore ducks.

I am hoping that my experience will show him he doesn't have to be dibilitated by arthrytis, migraines, photosensitivity, depression, fatigue and yada yada.

It makes me so sad-but I think he is someone lost to so many years of frustration that he has given up.

Meanwhile-root for Natalie B, just in case she shows up this year.

her coach is from china, and had NOT been back in 30 years and looking forward to seeing/visiting his GRANDPARENTS still living!!
