Remember this mini-series from the '70's? I am so glad it's being revived and can hardly wait to see what the new spins are on it! Before there was Alien, or Predator, or any of the other new Xenomorph stories on TV/film, there was "V".
The Moral of the "V" story is timeless and we seem to forget our lessons over and over again, throughout history. If you remember in the original series, the old Jewish man who survived a concentration camp, recognized the tactics used by The Visitors right away and chose the "V" sign, as it represented "V for Victory" in WW2.
Those of you who plan to watch, let's keep in touch. This should be very interesting.

I believe the new mini-series begins Nov. 6. (Will have to confirm on internet.) Although this is sci-fi, it is very relevent to many historical "going's-on" and will unfortunately, likely be relevent in the future.....

Thought the initial first episode was okay.
Did anyone happen to watch the 70's version mini series when they re-ran it last weekend? OMG, I'd forgotten just what a great butt and thighs Mark Singer had!
(Yeah, baby, I'm definitely in remission!)

I've been watching! So far, I'm interested to see how things will go. Apparently, I was born around the time the original aired- so of course I don't remember it at all.

Nexus - I'm glad someone else is watching. Frankly, I like the older mini-series better; at least the story line was easier to follow. I find this new one too "choppy". Guess I'm getting old.
