We are starting a new tradition this year, we are baking Jesus a bithday cake. Just listing our traditions, not intending to offend anyone.

Please list holiday traditions here...
I think this will be neat a good way to learn new traditions and customs of others.. Best wishes all....

What a nice topic.

And what a nice new tradition to add to your holly days. I'd love to hear more.

My husband and I usually drive somewhere for Thanksgiving, so on the way home, we always listen to Christmas music. Usually it's a Manheim Steamroller CD.

My mom always makes cookies that the "kids" (us) can decorate, even though we are all adults now.

I also love watching Charlie Brown Christmas, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (animated and the Jim Carey one). I always make sure to watch them.

We always go to church, all dressed up, on Christmas Eve at night.

I started a new tradition last year. We now decorate the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving day after we eat.

This way everyone helps and I don't end up doing all of the work myself. [Big Grin]

Good thinking joalo...

Well, I need to start a new tradition since lyme and company.

Two years ago I hung a star from my ceiling fan chain.

Last year it was a snow man...that guy is still on the end of the ceiling fan chain.

It needs to be something simple.

Hmmm

Black Friday shopping and eating those little sausages on Christmas Eve are two of my traditions.
