I can't figure out how to adjust my brightness....on F6 and F7 there is a little sun with an arrow down and an arrow up, respectively. Pushing "FN" (aka function....why it doesn't just say Function instead of FN is beyond me) plus F7 should move the brightness up, but it doesn't.

If it's any harder than that, I don't think I want to know how hard it is.

Seriously?!?!? Why can't they make these things easy to use.

And please don't tell me I should have bought a Mac. Give me $500-700 extra dollars and I might have.

I hear you! My Mom couldn't afford a Mac either so we got her very first laptop a few weeks ago...and it's a Toshiba. I hate it. I haven't even figured out how to load stuff from a little USB memory drive onto it. We're trying to take music from my Mac and put it on her Toshiba and it's all going fine with the Mac end of the deal. lol.

I'm going to go see if I can take a look at her Toshiba and find where you adjust screen brightness. I'll come back as soon as I figure it out [Smile]
