I haven't worn makeup in years, so I'm new at this, especially the new makeup on the market.

I want to buy some loose mineral powder instead of the liquid foundation, but have read some disturbing things about it, in that it can be inhaled through the lungs.

Someone told me that Dr. Oz had something on that also, but I missed it.

So, is it safe to use loose mineral powder? If so, I'm off to Walmart.

Thanks,

lifeline

I don't know.. I've heard the same thing about inhaling it.

I pretty much gave up on liquid foundation or anything like that. I go natural on the skin.

My daughter and I use loose mineral powder...used to use Bare Minerals, but found out it had cancer causing agents in it...did some research and now use Rejuva minerals which are 100 percent pure.

i can't use it because of the dust it causes. it's bad to inhale any of that stuff.

i use m.asam from germany. it's very light and has excellent coverage. a little goes a long way.

you can buy relatively safe makeup if you want to research and spend the money. check out aubrey.com . I get physician's formula organics, but not sure if that's totally safe.

For more specific info, look up a book called Drop Dead Gorgeous or do a search for "less toxic products"
