I have been watching a lot of Rambo movies this week as I'm laid up again, so I decided to look up Sylvester and his family on the Internet just out of curiosity.
Then, on the news ticker they say his oldest son has been found dead of a prescription drug overdose!!
I feel so badly for him and his family, but think it's strange that I was looking at pictures of Sage just hours earlier. I swear, I must have some kind of sixth sense.
It's so sad - only 36 and about to be married. No depression and lots of projects in the works. It's tragic.

I wondered how he died. I saw the headlines.
I also wonder if he was mixing alcohol with the prescription meds.

VERY sad. Is Sage the son that was dx with autism when he was young? Not sure if I have this right. Greatest heartbreak is a parent losing a child.

No, not Travolta's son. I thought I remembered reading years ago about an autistic problem with Stallones son.
Wonder what meds he was on. I think I will do some digging by googling. Will let you know if i find something.

Okay, I just googled Sage Stallone and it came up that his brother Seargeoh is autistic. I knew it was someone in the family.
Also found in Sage's apt were 2 drawers full of pills. Wonder why he was on so many meds? Ashame...another pill tragedy.

I thought it was tragic when John Travolta and Kelly Preston's autistic son, Jett, died at 16 of a seizure. I felt so badly for the family. And then someone on the ambulance crew tried to extort money from them - that's lower than low.
I thought the Travoltas were incredibly brave to have another child - an adorable little boy named Benjamin.

- To clear up any miscommunications previously in the media:
Sage Stallone died of heart attack, not drugs, coroner concludes
By Alan Duke, CNN - August 31, 2012
Excerpts:
Sage Stallone, the 36-year-old son of actor Sylvester Stallone, died of atherosclerosis, which brought on a heart attack, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County coroner said Thursday. . . .
. . . No drugs were found in Stallone's body other than an over-the-counter Tylenol-style pain medication, according to Lt. Fred Corral of the coroner's office. . . .

I know his family won't see this post. Still, just can't post this without adding sincere condolences to family and friends for their loss of this wonderful young man. -
