Shy: Thank you for responding so quickly!!! Some people would say that my cookies were deleted a long time ago... Only kidding. I did try your suggestion and deleted cookies, all 345 of them, and tried a search again and still got the "Website not responding" nessage, and to try again later. Have you got any other tricks up your sleeve? Nancy

Nancy, sounds like perhaps your system resources are low? Do you have alot on your start up menu? You can check your system resources by right clicking on my computer, go down to properties, click on it,then click the performance tab and see what it has as a percentage for system resources. If it is below 60% you need to fix that.Let me know if you need any more help, I will do my best.

Nancy, it would help us to help you if you could be more explicit about the problem.
When you say "not working" or "I cannot conduct a search", what's that mean exactly? What happens?
When you click on the search, do you get the search menu screen?
If you do get the search menu, what happens when you click on the "Perform Search" button?
If you could post a narrative of what you do, what the response is, and the entire contents of any messages that appear on your screen, that would help us figure out what's going on.

It is late, but just wanted to say "thanks" again for trying to help. I solved the problem myself by going into scanreg/restore, picking up a previous registry date, and lo and behold, my search of Lymenet works again. How frustrating!!
What had happened was that I got the search screen ok, filled out and clicked on "Perform Search" button. Always, a box would appear with a blue border saying website was busy or server was broken and to ry reload button. Naturally, reload did absolutely nothing.
I don't know what the problem was, but I really do appreciate you guys trying to help. I almost put my foot through the computer screen!!! Best, Nancy
