Many articles have a box to check if you want to make an article *printer friendly*.

How do you get rid of the LymeNet stuff on the left of a posting page ?

Trying to printout a 33 page post but the last 4 or 5 words on the right are left out.

There is no printer friendly box. OK-so I am computer *new* and don't know how to finagle this to make it come out right. HELP-

I don't know if you're using a PC or a Mac. When you select control P or print, you will have options in the print panel before you select OK. If you're using Internet Explorer, look for the drop-down in the print panel and select Internet Explorer options. Select or de-select headers, footers and images.

Another option would be to select everything on the web page, copy it and paste it into notepad (or similar) and print it from there.

Hope that helped some.

When I select a post to print, it lopps off the right edge of each post. So, I just select the text I want to print, go to my wordprocesser software, like Word or Works or even Notepad, and copy it there and print it.

Nothing of the lefthand side is printed this was and it saves the color ink for other things you might need it for.

This is how I print out a post, because I had the same problem you did.

I just highlight the part you want to print and be sure to include the left hand side where the names are, then under Edit press copy then under the emails, click on new messaage and type your own email address, then press paste, and send all this to yourself. It works. That eliminates all the ads, etc.

I hope you find the best way that works for you.

You can also select just the text (highlight it) and then when you hit file, go to print, and do the selection option. As long as you did not highlight anything but text (make it turn blue), then it should leave out the other stuff.
