I just upgraded my Internet Explorer. I think it's 7.5 .. not sure.

But now I can't "COPY"!!! I tried today to copy the URL for the link I was reading and it's not available to me.

HUH???? The tool bar is below where the URL is. What gives??

Hey Lymetoo.

It would help greatly if I could see a picture of what you're talking about, as I don't quite understand from your description what your looking or trying to do. You can take a screenshot by pressing the "print screen" button on the upper right of your keyboard, then going into a paint-type program and doing "edit paste". Then save the picture as .gif or .jpg if u can, and upload that image to some free file or upload site.

Are you trying to copy the url of the page that you are currently on, or a link within that page? If it's the latter you can just right click and select "copy link location".

Also, so what if the toolbar is below the url, it should still be there, no? Try clicking and looking for something under the edit button, or changing how the toolbars are setup by going into the view button maybe. Does your toolbar look like this?

I don't have internet explorer installed on this computer as I think it is crap. I HIGHLY recommend Firefox over IE. If you get firefox, search for and install the adblock plus addon, and subscribe to the "easy list" and that will block many unwanted ads.

But if you insist on using IE, I guess I can try to troubleshoot your problem further, heh. Let me know if my advice was any help or if you decide to follow any of it. TTYL.

OK...duh. I forgot you could right click and do it! I learned many years ago to highlight and then go to copy and then use control V to paste.

That technique no longer works! I can't get the "copy" to come up when I do that.

Right clicking worked! Duh... I've been on pain meds for two days and this new Explorer is also two days old. Not a good combo!! [Wink]

Thanks!!!!! [Cool]
