An article in "The Institute for Nursing Newsletter" July 2009 is titled "NIH Autism Center of Excellence Network Announces Launch of the Most Comprehensive Study of Earliest Possible Causes of Autism".

The web site for this EARLI study is http://earlistudy.org. This may be a good opportunity for input by anyone who has a personal experience with Lyme and it's possible connection to autism spectrum disorders.

This seems to be a new study, any information we could send along published from Lyme Literate Physicians or others may make a difference.

I don't have enough computer skills to put up the article. You may be able to see it at www.njsna.org. The NJ nurses association.

Thanks turtle. Our experience with the NIH has been so poor, that expectations will not be high that they will actually do excellent work at the center. They will probably continue to rule out any connection with vaccines or infection, and concentrate on genetic causes. And since there were no autism cases in previous generations, genetic causes are bogus.
