Just woke up here is Switzerland and opened my email to find the bad news about Dr. J's wife and daughter. Sitting here on the computer and crying. Wife with breast cancer and 5 year old daughter with cancer.
How can one person handle so much sorrow. What can I do for him. We don't need coloring books, but what else can I do?

Thanks Betty. I have been especially low lately. Depression rearing its head. Seems like I can't outrun it this time.
When I read about Dr. Jemsek I just cried at the computer. So much suffering. WE live in a fallen world. So much unnecessary suffering.

P.S. If this German member has contacted me and I did not get back to him or her, then I might have deleted it as spam. Please ask person to try again then. Subject line should clue me in.

MARY, so sorry you're feeling the pits right now, and calling you by the wrong name ... neuro lyme at its best.
i sent him info with your home email and said what to put into the subject line. it sounded like he made contact with you.
here's something to cheer you up!! little jordan has gone HOME FOR ONE WEEK; she's doing really well.
mom had lumpectomy and it went well, so all 4 of them will be together before little jordan has another bone marrow done on her to see what her status is! wonderful news, right!! hugs/kiss to you... betty

Thank you Betty. I didn't think twice about you calling me Selma. I knew you would catch that, and it didn't really matter. No problemo.
I went to the caring website and joined, but I cannot figure out how to view her page, where to go to search for her, and the website says you cannot search a person.
Any help in that would be great.

mary,
PAB posted this for you in the support forum of jordan's direct caring bridge site:
a note today from PJ LANGHOFF, who has created the coloring books and t-shirts as FUNDRAISERS FOR THE JEMSEK FAMILY ...
Hi Betty,
I can't post on lymenet because I was banned all those years ago and although I was asked to come back I don't have the time, literally.
I am working day and night to get the book "God Science" out along with other projects for the lyme cause.
BUT the collection of funds is to help them,
.. yes, because Dr. Jemsek has already lost his multi-million dollar clinic in NC when he was forced to close it for treating lyme patients,
.. not because he did anything "wrong",
.. then he moved to SC and treated patients there and they are once again making him move,
.. again simply for treating patients, not because he has done anything wrong!
He is constantly paying legal representatives to help keep him in business, and without our LLMDs, we have NO ONE to treat us! **********************************
This man and his family have given so much to the lyme community, people simply DO NOT KNOW THE TRUTH about him or what he has sacrificed.
Doctors don't necessarily have the world's best insurance, contrary to popular belief, and with two members of his family in therapy for cancers, you can imagine what those medical bills will come to! (Millions).... ******************************
It is the decent thing to do to give back to a doctor who has given up so much of his life for thousands of patients all over the world and who is leading the way with treatment protocols that are helping the sickest of patients.
Even if we can only give a small amount, it lifts him up financially and also in support of his willingness to continue to fight despire the opposition who will take down any and all LLMDs if they possibly can!
However you wish to post this, I appreciate it.
Thanks Betty for all you do!
PJ
