Thanks, Phyllis.

For those who may wonder, this group, Lyme Disease.org is a wonderful lyme advocacy and education group.

Anytime someone wants us to sign a petition, I want to know if LymeDisease.org knows about it and supports the wording and intent.

[Not all petitons are worded or designed to be in our favor, some sneak in or could have "twisted" results so it's vital to know the ins and outs.]

So, when you see any petition request from LymeDisease.org, or from pmerv, you know it's from the best. They've done their homework.

When you see petitions on the web to sign, see if any of these top groups have addressed that particular petition. All good groups below.

For those who would like to be more active and vocal, here are some top lyme advocacy organizations. Some are set up to welcome volunteers in various ways.

Each has some differences or focus, but they are all fully "lyme literate" and ILADS "minded" -- bringing them all together.

ILADS - www.ilads.org

Lyme Disease ASSOCIATION - http://www.lymediseaseassociation.org

Tick-Borne Disease Alliance - http://tbdalliance.org

Lyme Research Alliance - http://www.lymeresearchalliance.org/

Treat The Bite - http://www.TreatTheBite.com

Lyme Disease.org - http://www.lymedisease.org

The state discussion groups through this last link:

http://www.lymedisease.org/resources/support.html

- Not an exclusive or formal list. Just the top organizations that came to mind. Remember STATE and LOCAL lyme support groups, too.

If you don't remember if you signed this or not, go ahead and sign it, anyway.

If you previously signed it, their computer knows that and will tell you - right across the top of the page:

"You already signed from this email address!"

What a fabulous feature for our memory support.
