I forgot to mention the site where you can find your US legislators: http://www.visi.com/juan/congress/
It's so easy I don't think we should try to improve on it.

Great resource for looking up Federal, State and Local legislators by Zip Code -- for the entire country!

Congress.org
http://www.congress.org

Also -- how can we use this website to raise Lyme awareness?
See "Soapbox" section. I did a search on "lyme disease" on the site and came up with 4 posts...

Reposted info:

This is a resource list of the website you can go to in each state to find your State legislators.

Even if you have no Lyme legislation pending in your state right now, it pays to develop a relationship with your State Assemblyperson and Senator.

If anything comes up, you will already have a relationship, and your legislator will know something about Lyme. S/he will know Lyme is an important issue in your State if more than one person has written to him/her about it.

If all you Michiganians could thank Rep. Thaddeus

McCotter (Northville area district) for signing on

that would be great. He recently signed on, maybe

after some calls from Lymies? It's just Levin and

Stabenow I'm concerned about.
