this is from the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette on Oct 3.

Fort Wayne native Dr. Allen C. Steere Jr. will receive the Physicians Achievement Award from the Arthritiis Foundation Friday in Boston.

Steeere, a 1961 graduate of South Side High School, is the director of clinical research for

rheumatology at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is also a professor at Harvard Medical School.

Steere identified the first cases of Lyme disease in the 1970s. Today, his researd is focused on autoimmune diseases.

Wouldn't it be great to have some of his input on the questions coming up in these posts?

Dean, you are new to lyme and to CAMPS A & B.

Camp A is Steere, SHAPIRO who testified against Dr. Charles Jones, Conn.

Camp B is Burrascano who believe patients NOT treated long enough with antibiotics need LONG TERM ABX to help them get well or into remission.

Steere/infectious drs. are the reason MAJORITY of us have CHRONIC LYME and have gone decades without getting better, etc.

If this were for Burrascano, Jones, etc., we'd be happy for them to answer questions here.

I have to agree with Tree on this one, NO to Steere! I hope I've explained this good enough.

Otherwise, in the newbie links I sent you when you joined, look for the CAMPS A & B link, it's in the first 8 pages somewhere ok.
