I've been taking Biaxin and Clindamycin for the last month and it's been an intense month for my brain.

I only take Clindamycin Tues and Thurs, and I have definitely noticed that my brain feels far more disconnected from reality on those days.

So I'm curious, what doses are other people taking of Clindamycin? I take 450mg on both tues/thurs.

My doc did tell me that Biaxin would merely knock on the door; whereas, Clindamycin would knock it completely down.

I'm thinking about taking a break from abx for a week to detox. Would the bacteria evolve and become resistant if I did that?

I am on IV Rocephin for Lyme and just about to start IV Clindamycin 300mg 3 times a day with Quinine twice a day for Babesia.
