Just curious - is this the new name for the F lab protozoa? And does he have a PCR test available to the public yet -- or it is only for patients?
Thanks.

Yes this is the current name. Not sure if PCR tests are open to public.
I know that whatever testing my son is having done is not able to be submitted to insurance... probably considered part of research.

I go to said Dr. that has the lab under same name.
I am feeling really good these days. I never had the FL1953 test, as I had already had Igenex tests done years ago. He feels though that I do have this 'bug'. He's never asked me to take his test either. I never have felt that I had a 'true' lyme, (thus my posted name).
I had been positive -4bands with Igenex and positive with Babs before.
He makes sense to me, and the treatment for the FL and lyme and company are basically the same.
I've been under this treatment protocol with him for 1yr and 4 months and really feeling good. This is a retreat after I was great for 8yrs in between taking anything.
I was just at the clinic yesterday.

The PCR is open to public, you can print the form from the webpage and any doctor can sign it.
I am not treating the FL 1953 at the moment and would be interested what the treatment is. I personally will not take plaquenil, had already trouble wit it.

Pretty soon, we're going to be saying oh I have JZ 2923 or KY 1514. What an odd way to ID something.

Karenl, I had trouble with plaquenil too. Was first started out with biaxin/plaq but couldn't stomach/intestial that combo. I've been on zith and then added malerone later. I'm a retreat, so I basically knew what worked for me too.
Thyroid Armour has really helped too.
I am finally feeling great, energy has come back. Still herxing in weirder ways. Hands swollen and tight, feeling hot, last week. But each time after a weird herx, I'm so much better.
FL = Fry Lab, thus that part of the name. Who knows why they numbered it. Also goes by Hemobartonella.
