She has been flown to Mayo Clinic for some auto-immune disorder. Poor lady, sure won't get the truth there.

- When I saw that, I just shuddered. She was just fine and then, all of the sudden, Guillain-Barre? Unfortunately if this is lyme, neither the state of Texas nor Mayo will serve her well. I hope she can avoid the steroids.
And, just how does one contact her family or even the Secret Service to tell her to be checked out by a real LLMD? Lyme and other tick-borne infections are supposed to be ruled out when Guillain-Barre is suspected but she's not going to find knowledgeable doctors at Mayo. And there's only one or two in Texas who know about lyme.
I've always liked Luci. I'm sorry she's been given an umbrella diagnosis. There are some basic chatty comments following the CNN news article but I doubt anyone from the family will read those - I also can't figure out how to post with CNN.
One can't just call her room at Mayo and leave a message that no one there knows all they should to get the bottom of what is wrong.
Just how does Mayo hold such a place of honor when they are so ignorant of tick-borne and other stealth infections? -------------

Doctors there recommended that she be treated at the Mayo Clinic for what physicians believe is Guillain-Barre syndrome, Johnson said. It's an autoimmune disorder affecting the nervous system.
Luci Johnson had been in excellent health with no prior medical issues of this nature, Tom Johnson said.

The only thing preceeding this was a sore throat and hoarseness. ...could be Lyme symptoms...
Map & Keebler, that's the first thing I thought when I saw the report.
