I also have iv ceftriaxin was wondering why you need saline, do you mix it with the antibiotic or is it used just to flush after the antibiotic.
I hang antibiotic and the saline bag but I only use the saline for a few minutes after the antibiotics are done. I also use a posiflush syringe so I was wondering if the syring would be sufficient for your use.
Too bad you dont live closer as I have two boxes of it under my bed - the pharmacy keeps sending extra and I have asked the nurse not to order any more but it still keeps coming. What a waste.

As long as I have 20 milliliters (can combine two 10 ml normal saline syringes )with two grams of rocephin .
It will work aether way syringe ore infusion bag of normal saline.
