I am up to 2 hours of cardio on the ellyptical machine and Im able to function without pain afterwards.

Im taking cymbalta and adderall and I cant help but blame these drugs on improving my life.

about 3 years ago I couldnt even do 20 minutes because I was so sick from the abx, now that I choose to not take them and take psych meds instead Ive been able to build my endurance.

Also I take Klonopin at night so my muscles recover.

I still have empty nose syndrome and MCS but Im not letting it stop me.

I know that the excercise is benefitting and my goal is to lose weight (about 20 pounds).

The last time I did this in 2001 I had tremendous results and a full remission of my symptoms. But my symptoms came back after I began abusing alcohol.

Its even tougher now to lose weight because the weight I put on was from the drug Zyprexa and from what I hear Zyprexa makes fat that is HARD TO LOOSE.

Im supprised its still on the market.

Just thoght Id update everyone here on how its going.

May you have peace and healing for today and every day here after.

WOW-awesome. Maybe I should try that route instead of Abx seriously. I'd kill to be able to do that.

thank you all, infact the abx just made me sicker and sicker and granted I had some problems with the drugs making me a little hyper ( I totalled 2 cars 2nd one I hydroplaned) but luckilly I was not injured that much at all.

Today I did 2 hours in a row of ellyptical and then did weights!

This would have been impossible If not for the drugs and it certainlly wanst possible with the abx alone, they made me herx ALL THE TIME

Be careful with the adderall and all that excercise -- a crash is inevitable and you may end up at square one. Please pace yourself

Yes Im aware of the adderall and the crash effect.

In fact I really dont crash at all which is beautifull. There was a while when I was taking more then prescribed but those days are long gone.

Now I take 60-90 milligrams a day (which is what Im subscribed.

Great to hear your doing better. Not to be a downer, just an observation...

Do you think your obsession with losing weight & excessvely using the elliptical for extreme lengths of time (2 hrs straight)could be OCD? ..one of the psyche problems associated with Lyme.

Or, if you have a lot of energy and feel really productive, and you need to burn it off, that can be a symptom of bipolar, in the hypomania stage. Mania is when you are really off the walls, but hypomania can actually be pleasant, because you just have a lot of energy and can get a lot done (but it's bad because you can later have depressive swings).

So if you do notice you have mood swings over time, like the energy swings away and you have periods of depression, etc.....you should look into the bipolar. Drugs like Lamictal can help keep you more stable.

Not saying that anything you described is a problem....just responding to what the last person said. Because working out for 2 hours IS a lot.

And if you abused prescriptions in the past, that is another sign of bipolar, or really almost any psych disorder.

But if you are fine, more power to you. You may not need so much Adderall though, because working out for 2 hours is a little extreme, depending on what you're doing.

With Adderall, I am always sure to take Carlson's cod liver oil daily, so my mouth doesn't dry out and I don't get constipated. Or you could just consume lots of olive oil.

Cymbalta ended up being terrible for me.

It was changing my personality.

When I got Lyme I started to excercise obbsessively! The sicker I got, the more I would excercise.

I was excercising 6 hours a day, and only stopped for meals, family, sleep and chores!!!

I was never tired of excercising! but then , 2 years later! I absolutely crashed!!!

The nerve pain became unbearable! and I was forgetting a lot of things!

I acted very manic and hyper, all the time, and would say how very happy I was! I couldn't sleep because I was so hyper! I had to take sleep meds!

I don't know what Adderall is.

Excercising 2 hours a day, is fairly normal for most people that I knew at the gym. They would warm up on the eliptical, do a couple of classes , stretch and then go home 2 hours later.

But I just thought that I would warn you about what happened to me.

I am glad you are doing well.

missing thats sad to hear, but when Im exercising Im not in pain afterwards, thats how I know Im getting better.

As for the cymbalta it dried up my libido!!!!!!!

I ordered L DOPA and Im going to try that. I have big expectations for that drug. It turns directlly into dopamine, something my brain needs If im going to have any goals or drive.

\Yes its a form of OCD but I really think its a good habit to build/have.

If I was washing my hands 50times a day that would be bad ocd. Excercising every day, not so bad.

Your right 2 hours is a lot, and I have been constipated. Im blaming on the amytryptaline. I hope Im right. Olive oil to me is an antifungal and I have terrible terrible herx reactions from it so I steer clear.

Just trying to boost my NK cells natually with what nature and the doctor gave me (wink wink).

Using my body and these drugs, and no Im not crashing and yes my family has a history of bipolar but Im not feeling manic just energized and motivated from being fat,,haha.

I prob dont look fat but its there around my waist, the rolls of fat that Im getting rid of along with the toxins.

Well at least you are aware & admit it is a psyche issue.

Enjoy your wonderful feelings, & may your progress continue to where your goals are reached.

I may also be heading in this direction... While I can't say that I haven't improved in the last year I'm not were I wanted to be...

I went off flagyl for only two days to allow symptoms to die down and I felt so much better... Before I was sick and started abx I still wanted to work out and still had energy to workout... While on abx I feel like all I do is struggle through the day and lay in bed when I get home, wondering how I'm going to take all these pills before 2 am.

My dad suffered a lot of the same symptoms I do when he was my age and went on 6 months of Prozac and never looked back, he says he was perfect. While I'm not saying this is the best route for anyone it maybe for me and definetitely was for the original poster.

So congrats to you for figuring out what makes you feel better and happy. I hope to be there soon!

Alex

I did an hour today and my weight is getting down.

I felt my first big herx tonight like I took some strong abx. Taking advil now. This is not fun, I probabblly unveiled a whole new layer of the disease. IT feels auto immune now. So tired and my limbs feel toxic.

But Ive been taking Cymbalta for pain, allthough it did wonders for my pain it lowered my libido almost to nothing.

Now Im thinking about taking parkisons drugs.
Ive allready began taking lots of horny goat weed, it used to work in the past and now I think its just beginning to break through.
