Still waiting to hear back from doctor but told to stop antibiotics. Is there anything I can do to help lower this.
Also are there any know symptoms of too high liver enzymes.
I have hardly been on antibiotics over the last couple of months but did try to add a lot of supplements in November could this increase the enzymes. Was never able to stay on the supplements as they caused so much stomach trouble.
(did not do enzyme test for about six weeks)

What other drugs are you on? I had elevated liver enzymes with an antidepressant/sleep drug that took quite a while to go down after stopping the drug.
Are you taking milk thistle? I am not very alternative but I think this really works.

Is your WBC down too? Or just the Liver enzymes...
My son's WBC went down... and liver enzymes went up. He had to stop abx too.
Do you have the blood test results so yo have actual #'s? Just want to compare notes.

Sometimes nausea and headaches in addition to yellowing of the skin are indications of elevated liver enzymes. Don't worry too much about 3X normal.. I've seen alot higher..
Just make sure to stop everything except liver support until back to normal.
There's several things you can do to bring down your enzymes:
Drink dandelion root tea Take standardized milk thistle make tea with Ginger root and turmeric Pekana kit any liver support with artichoke and burdock lots of warm lemon water through a straw..
You will notice if you are detoxing properly you will have dark yellow urine..

No, sorry I don't have the results, just a call from the doc office to tell me to stop antibiotics immediatly, I have an appointment on 23rd so will get a copy then and post for you.
Other than trying to add Dr.J's supplements the only other thing that changed was going from a regular blood pressure to a beta blocker.
But I have been so dizzy and unbalanced the last week or so and the small amount of food I eat just will not go down causing horrendouse back and abdominal pain, that's why I asked about symptoms.
I don't know very much about alternative either are you saying milk thistle might help because I think I might have some of those from before.

Could the beta blocker have caused your heart rate to slow too much? That could be the cause of your dizziness.

NAC is another good liver support supplement. Take 2-4 capsules per day (1,200mg-2,400mg total).

No, unfortunately the beta blocker has not slowed my heart rate down it still registers 205/130, not all the time but but a lot of the time, the lowest it has been is 140/85 which is not that slow i think.

milk thistle really helped me!! Also, 2 docs have recommended Liver Care by Himalaya. Lots of studies on that one. Also known as Liv52. You can find it at Whole Foods, Sprouts, most health shops.
