Your PCP can do the nasal swab test with results in 15 minutes. This is how I discovered by 12 year old had it. If not for the test, we would have just thought is was a little virus of some sort. It was influenza B and no big deal and not a very high fever. Lasted for about 3 days. Believe it or not but I (the lymie) was the ONLY one in the family not to get it!! And I was the caregiver to all!! Guess all my supps and LDN helped. With a CD57 of 22, who would have thought it!!? Our PCP put them on 2,000 mg Vit C until they felt better and that really helped I think.

I got the H1N1 /flu combo, HepA&B, typhoyd and TDAP the beginning of this year (due to international travel). The past 2 months have been the best months in symptoms since my Lyme symptoms started
Not saying anyone should get them, only giving my experience.
