Hi jennie:
No. You pretty much should get into the habit of taking magnesium (and esp calcium supps or foods) away from most everything else.

I have been taking them together Why isn't it advised to take them together?
It's getting harder and harder to schedule these pills

After years of doing this, I've found that oral Mg and Ca supps AND foods containing either, act like an absorbent of sorts and counteract most other orals taken at the same time.
Mg & Ca affect many rx drugs for thyroid, hypertension, etc. They affect multivitamins, probiotics and many other oral supps. Best to take Mg/Ca together, well away from other orals and avoid milk, cheese, yogurts, etc. at that time as well.
Truly, it is a real challenge. One way you might avoid a long wait time when planning your doses is to use transdermal Mg. It provides a bit more flexibility.

I don't really see why you couldn't take mg with a probiotic... Probiotics are not absorbed into the body anyway?

What about taking magnesium and calcium with herbs?
I have a mag and a multimineral with calcium that I need to find a way to space away from everything else. I was thinking of putting it in with my parastroy...
