I would like to hear if anyone who has had a long term chronic treatment resistant case of bart who has actually managed to clear it?? Dr S has some great work but has very little answers on treatment. I do not trust him due to the kinda of profiteering he has been doing with his consults.
I heard the book has few answers too. Very discouraged.

Hi six, Nice you are still knocking around. I believe levaquin was a wonder drug for you. It was for me too but now it does not work anymore. Its becoming more and more resistant and its quite worrying.

I had lyme, babesiosis and bartonella. I went undiagnosed for 10 years. I got rid of all 3. In March, it will be 6 years since I completed my treatment and I am still symptom-free.
Also, I have at least 4 friends who had the same 3 and they all got well. At least 2 of these people had been sick with "fibromyalgia" for well over 10 years. One qualified for Social Security Disability benefits because of it.
I sent them to doctors who follow the Burrascano protocol. That's what got us all well.

I just started taking Factive, and in 2 wks will be on both Factive and Rifampin at the same time. Not sure how it will work, but maybe you could try something like this?

TF beat Bartonella with one month of Levaquin. Probably an anomoly too based on feedback here. She has said she was not symptomatic for coinfections I believe too. Sounds much different than many here!

I am pretty sure metals are holding me back. I am prioritizing them aswell as biofilms going forward.
I have to turn a corner this year.

I'm currently taking Boluoke, Nattokinase and Rechts Regulat to treat biofilms. Rechts Regulat seem the most powerful for me at the moment.

I am going with serrapeptase and I am thinking about adding oral EDTA one day a week to the end of my 3 day a week round of ALA and DMSA for metals.
EDTA is so poorly obsorbed that I will take 500mg tabs which should translate into about 50mg absorbtion.

I beat bartonella with one month of Levaquin followed by nearly a year of Bactrim DS.
One of my friends took just Bactrim.

I took 3 months of Levaquin and one month of Rifampin. I didn't fully get rid of bartonella until about 9 months after I got rid of Lyme.

Get tested (bloodtest available) if you have cpn as it shows the same symptoms as bart (cpnhelp.org)
