I've been pretty well for the last 6-8 months overall. I still have bad fatigue from time to time but most other symptoms have faded.
However, I'll be doing well then I'll get this "trigger"....my left eye will start aching, stinging (only at night)and everytime this has happened in the past I've gone into a lyme flare.
Here is how it usually goes.
First night it won't be too bad but will wake me up with an ache/sting
2nd night will ache more, start stinging..wake me up, sometimes hard to open my eye...in morning it will be "crusty"
3rd/4th night more stinging, aching, then hurts so bad I'll fully wake up..try to open my eye, can't at first, panic...then finally get it open. Usually need to get a warm cloth to put on my eye to stop the pain. This goes on off and on all night
What I have learned is that when this pattern starts if I get back on my abx it will go away. As any fyi, I have been off all meds since Oct and doing pretty well overall. If I get this trigger I take abx for a few days and then it goes away and I'm back to "normal".
Is this weird or what? does anyone else have anything like this happen to them??

Since this was on the second page and you had no responses, I thought I would say something to bring it back to the first page.
I'm obviously not a doctor and perhaps that isn't why anyone has said anything. Did you have an LLMD? It may be best to run this by him/her.
Some things they will tell you are to be concerned over and others not so much and I know that running it past a doctor you trust would be more solid than what any of us could speculate.
Good luck to you and keep us posted.

This happens to me on regular basis every month when my period is coming.
It starts in my right leg and follows the pattern.
My symptoms improved greatly after 2 years of treatment, so my monthly symptoms are less intensive, but I can still feel it is coming.

Yup. Sleep becomes even more distorted and disturbed and mood changes begin to appear that are unusual, including aggression, low frustration tolerance, etc.

I used to have muscle spasms and twitching.
My last CD57 test was 51 and I have not been having lyme flares for months. It is still there but not the primary problem.
Maybe you should get a CD57 test.

Used to always be getting up from dreams and feeling had to pee a few times in the night. I would know that night that I was in for a rough week.
Now that is almost completely gone but was like that for about a year.

If it were me I would go back on meds for a few months. You are not symptom free. You have the fatigue and you have the eye problem. You don't want to get worse and get more symptoms over time.
I would nip it in the bud !!
