i have not had a tetanus shot in so long i've forgotten, probably more than 10-15 years.

since i've had that cut on my foot, i'm wondering if i should go in and get another one.

can lyme patients get them? any side effects? how would it effect lyme?

I'll probably be the one with tetanus one day because I so fear the shot! Haven't had the shot in years and years.

My Dr. told me unless I cut my foot in a horse barn, there was no need. I haven't had one in over 20 years. Honestly, I don't get anything I don't absolutely need while I am sick and I avoid vaccines like the plague.

well i had one flu shot and it's been downhill ever since that time.

i am absolutely terrified but i run around barefoot all the time, correction I USED to run around barefoot, now i put on sandals or something.

i know i'm a hypochrondriac but with all these symptoms i am just beside myself.

the icepick headache at temple has eased somewhat but i'm left with major joint and muscle pain. the tmj joint pain is lessening also but man, my feet are burning something awful.

you know it could be since i have not treated my lyme, other than herbs or something, in oh about two years, that it is progressively getting worse.

i hate this, i really really hate this.

p.s. just finished reading all the posts. thanks lyme. i think i'll pass on the tetanus shot. after all, the one flu shot put me down.
maybe it's just the lyme coming out.

i've been under a great deal of stress at home.

i only took one 20 mg of zocor. i think maybe that's what it was but it was such a small dose.

i stopped the biaxin due to colon problems -- ibs or whatever. i tested negative for c. diff several times but i still believe i had it. i had all the symptoms. my gastro ws not the greatest.

I hate those ice pick headaches. Doxy is the only thing that has worked on that for me.

Homeopathic Hypericum can be used to treat puncture wounds, neuropathy, and also can prevent tetanus.

I got a tetanus shot last year, I had no problem. My GP felt I needed it since I couldn't remember when my last one was....

Strangely enough, it didn't hurt as much the next day either. Maybe God figured I had enough on my plate that day!

I get tetanus shots pretty regularly because every school I've ever attended required them. No problems so far.

I got a tetanus shot 2 years ago and had terrible muscle pain for a week. At the time I thought I'd destroyed myself! Eventually I felt better but it was awful going through it.

I had one a few years ago, was on messy job site doing investigative work. Don't recall any issues with it.

I would never, ever get a flu shot again though, but that's just me.

I may have had Lyme for a long time, but my symptoms really became exacerbated (including exhibiting as auto-immune conditions) approximately a month after a tetanus shot in 2009.

Even though it's been over 10 years since my last shot, my LLMD & nutritionist both recommended AGAINST tetanus unless I do something like step on a nail.

Oh Wholy Wow. This info floored me. Ive never really looked at it as anything else but good. Realize this info Says one thing. I have never ever ever never read up on it. I had to get one on Feb 14. Because of the sensitivity of why I was running to my place getting more drinking water. I first went out with bankets.

And when was the last time you saw a Lymer Runner. Its clearly not me. Falling down is comman to almost comedy. So when I was running the sudden stop hit harder. Anyways I went ahead and got the Tetnus shot.

Now after reading this explains most everything here is True as Lou.

Many Thanks for all the Support this Site Provides. And has saved many lives, Here is when we and many more to learn they are not any where near being crazy. Compared to what the Drs say.

Now I ask who is the crazy one. I will give you a clue. It starts with CDC...........How is it that I can get a job there. Whats their protocol and mision statement. Cut the chase indeed. What is it they do other than preventing treatment with out a Blue Blood test.

Hey sorry I get carried away sometimes and then I wake up. Too soon for bad jokes

May God Bless you every day. And Never say never and do not give up no matter what. We need you to help others.
