yes.......about 4 yrs ago I upgraded to a 3g phone, and after using it for a few calls, I could tell that it was giving me a small headache that lasted for about an hour after making a call, and then went away.
So I did some research on the net and came up with a list of all the phones and how much power they radiated. So I stuck with the regular cell phone and upgraded to a Nokia that had high user ratings and the smallest amount of microwave radiation.
I don't have any of that info anymore, and maybe a 3g wouldn't make much difference to me now, but even if it didn't, I don't, and won't use a cell phone unless absolutely necessary.

I am very sensitive to fluorescent lights and wireless signals.
Several non-lyme-literate folks will say that this is caused by heavy metals, as the wireless signals (and any other EMF's) could have an affect on the heavy metals. Perhaps this is the case, or maybe just part of the story.
I think the above explanation may be true, but I think also, with lyme, I have sensitivity to a lot of things, the neurological system is damaged, is too sensitive, and things that don't have much of an effect on a lot of people will really both my neurological system. Some of this is because of the heavy metals, but I think some of it is the lyme as well.
My sensitivities have drastically reduced during treatment. They are not gone, and my treatment is not over.
Because of these sensitivities, I have done everything I can to avoid these things, which means I'm not up on the latest technology very much, and don't know what an iPhone is exactly, other than I'm sure it's a wireless device giving off microwave radiation, yes, the same stuff that microwave ovens use to cook food.
Somehow, people think it's dangerous to put living animals in a microwave but feel it's okay to use wireless devices. Ignorance is bliss I suppose.
No, it is not "in your head" in the way you meant it. It might be "in your head" in the sense of lyme spirochetes and heavy metals in your head are why it is more of a problem for you than it is for others.

If you are really curious, you could do a blind-test of sorts where you have a friend either turn on airplane mode or leave it off, wait a bit, have the friend switch it again, and then try to guess which time the phone was connected.
And even I, a guy who is cynical and dubious, will confirm with you that EMFs can be issues for some people. I'm sorry that more people don't recognize this.

Thanks guys! I'll just have to minimize my exposure...
Best.
