For those who take it/took it. Did you take it 3 weeks on, 1 week off?
Did you continue the macrolide (Zith etc.) during the one week off?
How often did you get your liver checked?

I was told to take Mepron and zithro all the time with no breaks. I think Dr. J s protocol is 3 weeks on and one week off.
Most people get a liver test every month. My LLMD did not ask for one except during the follow up phone consult at three months, but I got one on my own at two months. I need another one.

I take it non-stop. I get my bloodwork checked about every 2 months. My LLMD would like it to be every month, but I tend to procrastinate.

Non-stop sixteen months, blood work every four to eight weeks.
Zith is to keep the Mepron from becoming resistant. I don't know that it needs to be taken when you're not on Mepron, since it has a half-life of over two days.
