just got back from llmd- have an igg pos for babs but neg for lyme- blood work was through mdl labs.
is it possible to have babs but not lyme?
currnetly i am on mepron and zithro for the babs..

Do you remember being bitten by a tick? Did you have a bull's eye rash?

What are your symptoms? The tests are tricky for these things. They are not always accurate.

I am in this situation too.

I don't recall ever being bitten. Only band that shows up on IGeneX is 41 (although strongly positive).

Have you ever had a blood transfusion? This is the leading belief regarding how I might have been infected.

Was it Babesia WA-1 or Microti you tested positive for? I truly don't think we can take every positive antibody test to be absolute proof of CURRENT infection.

My LLMD thought enough of symptoms and test to treat with Mepron/Azithromycin/Artemesia(?).
