I had a tooth pulled 10 weeks ago. Has caused me nothing but grief since then.

Just this past Monday, finally had ozone injections done. Had a major reaction....face swelling all the way to my nose and up under my eye.

Something has been telling me the site needs to be opened and cleaned out. Can't take it anymore!!!

Have been trying to find a dentist I can trust to do cavitation surgery. Had one consult that didn't thrill me.

Today I found a good bio dentist in DC. I told them my situation, which has graduated to needing attention asap. Well, as it turns out, they had a last-minute cancellation tomorrow morning. So I am going!!

He does conscious sedation. Plus will do the Vit. C IV. I pray it all goes well.

I called my Seattle doc to see if I should have an oral antibiotic since I think an infection has been brewing for so long. She said no. The procedure and ozone is all I need, plus supportive things (like lymph, etc.).

I don't like abx, and have been off for a while, but I hope I'm safe without it.

Please keep me in your thoughts. I pray for relief and healing.

I had a very bad 3 hour surgery to pull a molar in March.. It got badly infected and took about 10 weeks to start healing, but only because I did take some abx during that time. As much as I feel herbs and natural methods are important, abx do have a place.

Praying for you. Glad you got a bio dentist. The only way to go really.

My bio dentist (lyme literate) had to do some surgery on my infected gums (lyme related). He gave me a homeopathic penicillin remedy in case I needed it. Turns out I didn't need it but was glad to have it for back up just in case.

Keep us posted.

Thanks so much, friends, for reaching out and checking in.

I had a GREAT experience. Loved this bio dentist. He did ART testing. Treated me for 3 cavitations (drilled tiny holes in jaw, then injected ozone). Plus did neural therapy (key to healing!). I felt immediately better. Had 4 great days in a row, followed by several more really good days.

These last few days I feel like I'm backsliding a little (but still doing considerably better than before I went). I'm going back next Friday. From what I understand, repeat injections are not uncommon.

When I have more time/energy, I will start a new thread detailing my experience, with some new things I learned (about neural therapy, etc.)

Wishing you all well,
Tammy

Great Tammy, looking forward to hearing more about it, as cavitations have been a sporadic issue for me. Also curious about neural therapy, don't even know what it is.
