I am in worse shape than I was last year. I was getting better, much better, treating Bart with Cipro, but I have since switched docs and I am scraping the bottom once again. He had me pulsing Mepron, alng with Rifampin. This says right in the instructions that these two drugs shouldn't be mixed. after 6 weeks of sliding into the most aggravating and painful funk, he switches me to Malarone - every day. No pulse. I just talked to his nurse. It appears he is only calling in scripts for Malarone. I am not being given refills for Biaxin, he didn't renew the Cortef (isnt it dangerous to take Cortef and then suddenly drop it?) and no more Tindamax. I only took Tindamax for 1 week. is that even a drop in the bucket? What is with this guy? Im 3 grand in with him and it hasn't been 2 months. I have only gotten worse, and quite frankly I wonder if he is incompetent, or just doesn't give a crap. Right now, the only treatment I will be doing is Malarone and A bart. Is this anywhere near sufficient? I could have prescribed these drugs to myself. His office takes 3 days to get back to me and it seems like no one knows what the other one is doing. I am so sick of it. It is unheard of to spend this kind of money and get the treatment I am getting. Is there actually a such thing as a good LLMD, or are they all charlatans?
