If you are not a vegetarian, how about bone soup, as one doc calls it: make broth from animal bones and drink.

Here's a good supplement that I have used. It comes in both pill and powder form:

Healthy Healing by Linda Page talked about Toki, a product you ingest. She says that everyone she knows who has tried it has experienced dramatic results in terms of skin rejuvenation in 3-6 weeks. It's a collagen drink and looks like it is at http://www.888ageless.com/. Not cheap.
A post from another forum:
Life Extension offers Neocell Super Collagen $19 for 250 capsules. Benefits:
Provides those specific amino acids (hydroxyproline and hydroxylysine) necessary to replenishing our own bodys collagen supply.* Hydrolyzed collagen is a rich natural source of glycine, the amino acid vital for muscle growth.* Builds bone matrix. Collagen is the mechanical strength of bone.* Corrects weak, broken, split, ridged and damaged nail beds.* Thickens fine hair, adds body and slows down hair loss.* Repairs connective tissues for improved elasticity; blood vessels to help improve circulation; and promotes wound healing and a clearer complexion.* Persons taking this supplement often see visible improvements within a couple weeks.
I have been taking it for two years and can attest to improved skin, hair, nails, range of motion, and sleep. Its also available as a powder on other sites.
