Hello,
I have been treating Lyme and co-infections for
16 months with abxs. and supps., etc. I was just
on zith. and omniceft for a couple of months
after coming off of IV roc. for six months. I
felt much better a few months ago and my swollen
knee was actually down and I was doing plenty of
PT. About six weeks ago my knee started to swell up to the point where it is difficult to walk and my fatigue is back along many other aches in the
back/neck region. My LLMD wanted to switch thing up. Currently I am ramping up on tetracycline(my knee is on fire)
and will start mepron this week, if insurance
cooperates. Can anyone share what has worked for
them with regards to swollen joints and how long
can this swelling last? This was my first symptom
five years ago and I am trying got kick it out of
me. Is it possible to have swollen joints with babs. because I always thought this was more of a Lyme/bart. symptom? Any advice would be appreciated or protocols that worked for people with a swollen knee. May you all be doing the best that you can and I am so thankful for this site!!!!

I have read that babesia can cause the knee and joint swelling. Have you been treated for this?
Malarone and zithromax is the standard treatment.
