Does anyone know what causes this? I know this is common with MS. Has anyone had this go away with treatment?

I too use to have this going on, but it DOES reverse with treatment and it isn't happening at all anymore. Hang in there.

Thanks so much for all your replies. It is comforting to know this can go away.

I still have this quite a bit. Use to be worse. Sometimes it goes away for a while, but comes back when I'm run down. I think it could also be lymph related. Both legs drain up by the left arm. Try dry skin brushing to help move lymph fluid. Also, jumping on a rebounder (trampoline).

I had this to the extent that my head and torso also went numb. It went away with antiparasitic herbs and salt/c protocols.

Lyme disease is known to wax and wane, but it doesn't mean that it went away.

i do not think this is directly lyme disease, i think this is the immune system, like allergies when the immune sys goes crazy... we have pins and needles, neuropathy, and when this becomes too strong our body goes numb... this is not only caused by lyme

Your right, parasites can cause this numbness, and allergies and a suppressed immune system are on the list of symptoms for parasites. They can be considered a co-infection of Lyme. Bartonella can also cause numbness and neuropathy.
