I remembered reading the following - which gave me the idea of the possibility of Bb antibodies being found in IVIG:
Note the states for plasma donation - as well that folks with a history of LD can donate. (scroll down). Doesn't that imply BB antibodies could be in the IVIG?
Interesting - showing brands with high titers to some pathogens. (scroll down to Table 1).
To me - all this opens up possibilities of IVIG - perhaps a "designer" IVIG. Or at least the idea to choose a brand - and batch??? - from donors/areas where targeted pathogens are more likely to be represented.
ie IVIG from Connecticut vs Alaska.
For those with CVID that receive IVIG regularly -and also have LD - couldn't this be of immense help?
