I've started hydrocortisone .1 mg. Are many of you taking this? What should I expect with it? Thanks:)

People with lyme are not to use cortisone.

My cortisol level is low in the mornings, high in the afternoons. It's a pill and says "hydrocortisone .1 mg." Yes, for adrenal function I think...there was so much information given to us so forgive me if I'm not too knowledgeable.

the dose is low but sometimes i can only take 5 so i think it is right. maybe doc is starting slow. it doesnt take much to change sx or test result
my cortef is generic and the bottle says hydrocortisone but it is 5 not .5

Search here for posts on Cortef - that's the brand name.
Yours is a low dose, but maybe with reason.
It helped me. Adrenal support is good.
